Verse of the month:

Proverbs 16:3
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will
succeed.”

Destination: INDIA

Proverbs 16:9 says “In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord
determines his steps,” and we are finding this to be so true with our work
with the follow up video!

Eric originally would have been returning from his trip to India this week, but due to some scheduling conflicts, as we write this letter, he is getting ready to leave FOR India. He will leave on October 2nd and will be there until the 18th.

We are thankful that God is completely in control of all things! Susan, the producer, arrived in India safely. Upon arrival and speaking with the Indian Campus Crusade staff, she realized that they needed more time to look through and edit the script. After many emails between Eric, Susan and the staff, and several late night calls to India (they are 10 and a half hours ahead of us!), the script was finally a finished product that the Indians felt would be effective with the new believers.

The next change was the set itself. Originally, Susan’s idea was to build a set for the video shoot. But, the production company felt it would be best to shoot in an actual village to make it more authentic. So it took a little more time to make those arrangements as well.

Now the time has finally arrived for Eric to go. He is THRILLED at this amazing opportunity to have a part in impacting millions of Indians with this follow up video. The video will be comprised of five lessons: God’s character; the uniqueness of Jesus Christ and how His sacrifice paid our sin debt; prayer: talking to God and listening when He talks to us; being a follower of Christ (once we accept the gift of salvation we are changed and have a role in the Kingdom to fulfill); and sharing your faith with others (the responsibility that all believers have and how to do it effectively). Prayerfully, these lessons will help give new Indian believers the foundation they need to begin and continue to grow in the relationship with Christ.

We covet your continued prayers for:
*Safe travel and safety from harm while in India.
*Unity and bonding as a variety of people come together to work on this project.
*That all the equipment will work and a quality product will be created.
*Most importantly, that it would be as God wants it and that it would glorify Him.

Thank you for partnering with us! We are eternally grateful for you!
