Personal Updates

Thank you for partnering with us to help reach the lost with the good news of Jesus! We are SO thankful to be doing jobs that we love and being able to serve Him. It is because of your faithful prayerful and financial support that we are able to do what we do, and we cannot tell you enough how much we love and appreciate you! June 6th marks the year anniversary of our moving back to Florida to start working with the Jesus Film, and we still are in awe of what He has done.

Allison's Health

Thank you for praying for me. I am feeling really good! Because of that, I have not been back to the doctors. I am 99% sure the mass in my colon is endometriosis. I have read a book recently on nutrition and endometriosis, and found out that is one of the common spots to find it. This month I have felt exceptionally well. I attribute it first to God. Three women prayed over me in church a couple of weeks ago and since then, my pain level has been considerably less.
I secondly attribute it to eating a little better. I gave up dessert for Lent, and have felt a lot better. I notice that now when I do eat a lot of sugar or junk food, I feel yucky again. I am looking forward to the end of May when I have a phone appointment with a nutritionist in Albany, who has a remarkable success rate in helping women with endometriosis and infertility. I am confident that with continued prayer and taking better care of myself that I will keep feeling better, and hopefully soon be able to share the news that we will be having a baby! :-)

Eric's Book

Yes, you read that title correctly! Eric is publishing a book! He has been working on it for the last two years and recently a publisher has decided to publish it!
It is a book that weaves the story of a young man in a mentoring relationship with a pastor, learning how to grow deeper in his relationship with Christ with biblical principles for discipleship and growth. It is currently in the final editing stage and will be published in the next couple of months.
We are thrilled at the experience of having a book published and pray that it will touch many with Christ’s love and truth. Eric already has started a second book, so who knows where the Lord will lead! Hopefully next month we can give you details on how to order a copy if you would like one (or several!) :-)

What's Next?

Eric’s next trip will be to Africa, most likely Nairobi, Kenya. Lord-willing, it will be the last part of June. He also hopes to stop over for a meeting in France to meet with staff there as well.
He will be facilitating meetings similar to the one he had in India, to get feedback on a follow up film for African cultures. And, Lord-willing, Allison will be able to go this time as well! She is excited, yet nervous as this is her first trip overseas. Please pray that it will be a great experience!
