Dear friend,

We are praising God with all our hearts for His abundant blessings to us! Last year was an amazing year for us and we thank the Lord for His provision and blessing, His leading and teaching. As 2006 drew to a close, we could do nothing but praise Him for how He answered several of our prayers in such a powerful way!

For several months we have been asking for prayer, for the Lord to bring us a buyer for our house. At long last, our house has sold—we closed on January 5th! The woman that bought the house is a first time home owner and loves the house. We are thankful for how He answered our prayer that the house would be an answer to someone else’s prayers. We hope and pray she will be blessed in the years to come as she enjoys the cute little house! :-) Thank you SO much for praying!

The second prayer that He answered in a mighty way is how He has brought in most of the funds needed for our adoption! We are awed and humbled by the faithfulness of God and His people. Between the money raised from love offerings, the adoption credit from Campus Crusade, and the hopeful frequent flier miles (if Eric travels a lot again this year!), we have $1500 to raise for the adoption!! It is INCREDIBLE! We still can’t believe it! Thank you, Jesus! What a miracle!

Speaking of adoption, you are probably curious as to what is happening with that! Well, we have run into a hurdle in the process. China is becoming increasingly strict as far as who can adopt and will soon have more rigid standards for adoptions. Eric has a medical condition that seemingly has disqualified us from adopting from China, based on these new standards. In spite of this setback, we are confident that He wants us to adopt; we are just not sure from where.

We are seeking the Lord’s wisdom and guidance for how to proceed and will let you know as soon as He makes our next steps clear. We will most likely apply to adopt a child from a different county, but want to make sure that we are following the Lord’s leading. Please join us in prayer that He will show us our next step soon.

As we look ahead to 2007, we are praying that it will be even more productive than 2006!

The follow-up films are progressing and we are excited about how the Lord continues to bless our work. The Indian version of the follow-up film is almost finished! We are finalizing a fw more edits and will soon be ready for duplication and distribution within Inida! Thank you for your prayers!

Eric is also in the process of finding the script writers and production company for the Africa version of the follow-up film. Please pray that the needed people will be found quickly and the process with move forward quickly.

It was so eciting to read the recently published JESUS film UPDATE for January, 2007. Our director, Jim Green, shares his vision for the coming year. He discusses his excitement for the follow-up films that Eric is co-producing and the impact they will have on the Body. It is a privilege to work on a project that has the potential of literally reaching billions.

From February 2-12, both of us will be going back to Nairobi, Kenya in eastern Africa. This time we will be leading a training conference for about 50 missionaries from many mission organizations that work throughout Africa. The focus of the training will be on how to “localize” written discipleship materials. The goal is to bring the Bible stories to life in a way that makes sense to local people, leading to life-application of the biblical principles. We have attached a prayer calendar on the back of this newsletter and would appreciate your prayers.

In March, we will both be attending a briefing for major donors of The JESUS Film Project. The theme for this briefing is Africa and Eric will share about the huge need for follow-up materials and plans for the African follow-up video. Please pray that donors would respond joyfully to what Eric shares.

Also in March or April, Eric hopes to go back to India for the roll-out of the Indian follow-up video. This will be an exciting time as he introduces the video to many Christian ministries that work throughout India.

This summer, we will be going to Colorado for Campus Crusade’s bi-annual staff training. It will be for a week in July as we participate in training that is required of all Campus Crusade for Christ missionaries.

We’re sure that more things will be added to our calendar as time goes on, but for now, that’s our schedule for 2007. Thank you for partnering with us, we really couldn’t do it without you!
