Feeling His Love, Seeking His Will Dear friend, Thank you so much for your continued prayers for us.
We covet your prayers as we leave for the 10 days of teaching in Nairobi,

She showed us pictures of a group of new believers being baptized in the river and shared the story of how this came to be. She told us that for 2 years, she and the other missionaries would tell Bible stories, share the Gospel message and work with the local villagers to help them to understand what Jesus had done for them. Finally, the JESUS film was translated in the local language and they got a copy. They showed it in the village a few months before she came back to the U.S. At the close of the first film showing in the village, about 30 people raised their hand and indicated that they wanted to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior! It was amazing to Sonya and her team because before that, practically no one in the village seemed interested in what they shared. When one of the village elders was asked why he decided to accept Jesus, he replied, “For two years we heard you talk about this, but it did not make sense to us. Now that we have seen it for ourselves, we believe.” Praise the Lord for what He is doing through the JESUS
film and for this new community of |
